Frequently asked questions
Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based approach to preventing, managing and, in some cases, reversing chronic lifestyle-related diseases through positive and sustainable lifestyle changes. It focuses on wholefood plant-based nutrition, regular physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, healthy relationships and avoiding harmful substances.
At Cedarvale, these principles are incorporated into our holistic approach to health through Nourishment, Activity, Rest and Connection, supporting physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.
Cedarvale welcomes people from all walks of life who want to improve their health and wellbeing, take time out from the pressures of everyday life, or make positive, lasting lifestyle changes, and find renewed hope and happiness.
No, Cedarvale is a health and lifestyle retreat, not a yoga retreat. Our programs focus on improving physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through healthy nutrition, physical activity, relaxation, rest and practical lifestyle education.
Our approach is based on evidence-based lifestyle medicine and guided by Christian values of care, compassion and respect. We warmly welcome people from all walks of life, regardless of their beliefs or background.
Whether you're visiting on your own, with your partner, a friend, family members or a group, we'd love to welcome you to Cedarvale.
We can also arrange transfers from nearby train stations, including Moss Vale, Bowral and Bomaderry, as well as from Sydney Airport.
